This letterpress suite was designed for Hanna, a midwest girl from Michigan and Powell, a southern boy from Arkansas. I created a monogram with imagery that was representative of their home states. When I think of the south, I envision plantation style homes with big porches, couples sitting on their rocking chairs sipping lemonade. When I think of Michigan, lots of beautiful images come to mind, cherries being one of them. I incorporated cherry blossoms along with the rocking chairs to complete the look.

I love that her response option was “I’ll be there with bells on!” It’s one of my favorite expressions.
